Join family and friends as we celebrate black history & excellence in Terre Haute, Ind.

Since the first Terre Haute Day in 2020, the celebration has grown to multiple events over the course of a week leading up to the celebration. In 2023 Terre Haute Day welcomed 5,000 to celebrate the history of Juneteenth and the future of Terre Haute’s Black Community. We hope you will join us in 2024.

Young, Black & Empowered June 12

11 - 3 PM

Promoting the future through youth development is a priority of Terre Haute Day. Young Black & Empowered will take place Wednesday, June 12th. Registration will be launched soon and will be open to young men and women residing in Terre Haute, ages 14-19.

 

Pitch Black

June 13, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

For the third year in a row, Pitch Black will help to launch Black Owned Businesses in Terre Haute. Competition details will be released soon.
